All our products are crafted in small batches from scratch. Every day, our laces are carried from knitting factories to production labs throughout Italy. No two workshops are alike, each performing a different stage in the development process of our distinctive laces.
First, product development teams in both the US and Italy design the unique lace motifs.
Creating a new lace design can take up to 3 years of development. Key elements such as fiber elasticity, color absorption, and texture are all considered every stage of creation.
Each of our lace labs are supervised by highly skilled fabric experts who inspect quality, fiber gaps, spool replacements or line tensions issues. This ensures exquisite, delicate lace for the luxury made-in-Italy garments you've come to love from Cosabella.
When complete, the lace is inspected over a lightbox, meter by meter, to ensure perfection. Stretch is also reviewed with a tool that pulls the fabric to measure elasticity and any breaking points.
The finished lace is then transported to development labs to create Cosabella lingerie.
